That organization will receive half of your donation. The remaining amount (minus minimal expenses) will go into a pot, along with other donations, sponsorships, and proceeds from t-shirt sales, and will be divided among all the participating shelters/rescues to help animals across North Dakota. (All participating rescues and shelters are confirmed 501(c)(3) charities recognized in the state of North Dakota.)
