About Us

Central Dakota Humane Society provides vital services for the animal population of Bismarck-Mandan and the central North Dakota area. We rescue, house, rehabilitate, and rehome stray, injured, abandoned, abused animals.

We promote the spaying and neutering of pets to cut down on the number of unwanted litters of kittens and puppies in our area. To encourage people to spay and neuter, we offer $40 spay/neuter coupons to the public for assistance with the cost of the surgery.

We provide a place for volunteers to help in the community. We educate about proper pet care, animal cruelty laws, and our organization's mission through school visits, shelter tours, and service group presentations.
